Encountering Problems While Using The MusixMusix Platform?

Getting Started

Access to MusixMusix

  • Sign up for MusixMusix if you have not done so.

Internet Requirements

  • MusixMusix can be used on mobile broadband, ADSL or cable modem. For both mobile and desktop sites, make sure you’re getting at least 1–2 Mbps download speeds on your device.

  • If you were to stream music for 8 hours a day, you would use roughly 10-18 GB data download per month.

Sound System

  • Your device needs to be connected to the premise's existing sound system.

  • Desktop (PC/Mac)

  • Smartphone (Android/iOS)

  • Tablet/iPad

MusixMusix is compatible with the following web browsers:

  • IE 9 above

  • Chrome 56 above

  • Mozilla Firefox 52 above

  • Safari 10.1 above

  • You will need to sign up if you have not done so.

  • Go to www.app.musixmusix.com, click on “Sign-up” and you will receive an email to activate your account.

  • Click on the link and you will be automatically logged in.

  • Voila! You can now start playing music.

  • Once you have signed up for an account, all you need to do is log in.

General

  • Log in to the email that you have used to registered your MusixMusix account.

  • Go to Inbox and you should have received an email from MusixMusix with an activation link.

  • Click on the link and you will automatically logged in to your account.

  • If you are unable to find the email, try look under your “Junk Mail” or “Spam Mail” folder.

 

  • Check your login information to ensure it is the correct email address and password you have registered with.

  • Alternatively, you can try resetting your password.

  • Click on “Forgotten Your Password” and enter your email address.

  • You will receive an email with your temporary password.

  • Once you have logged in, go to profile (top right corner), click on “Password”.

  • Enter and confirm your new password.

FOR COMPANY ADMINISTRATORS

  • Yes, you will be the Company Administrator and you have the rights to create stores, users and select playlists for your business.

  • Yes, you can click on the “…” to skip a song that you do not want to be played in the store.

  • Go to “Stores” Tab, click on add and enter the store name. i.e My Café K-Mall, My Café Central.

  • Enter store address and click on save.

  • First, you will need to upload the song under “Uploads” tab.

  • Each song uploaded must not exceed 10MB in file size and the file format has to be .mp3.

  • This feature enable you to have your song(s) played within the playlist.

  • Please note that the songs uploaded may not be covered under our license-free agreement and may be subjected to external music licensing fees.

  • Go to “Stores” Tab, click on add and enter the store name. i.e My Café K-Mall, My Café Central.

  • Enter store address and click on save.
